Ohio Physical Therapy Jurisprudence Practice Exam – Prep & Study Guide

The purpose of the Code of Ethical Conduct for licensees is to guide and regulate the behavior and actions of licensees to uphold ethical and professional standards. Option A is incorrect because the Code of Ethical Conduct is not meant to promote competition among licensees, but rather to promote fair and ethical practices. Option B is incorrect because the Code of Ethical Conduct focuses on ethical behavior, not financial management. Option C is incorrect because while continuing education may be required, it is not the primary purpose of the Code of Ethical Conduct. Therefore, the correct answer is option D as it addresses the main purpose of the Code of Ethical Conduct - to report any breaches or violations of ethical responsibilities by other entities.
